Poems For Funerals HomeThis is a featured page

Part of grieving for family and friends is to want other people to remember your loved one's life and to acknowledge what they achieved. When you are in the midst of grief, it is quite normal that your thoughts are mostly about death, but do remember that you are also celebrating their life and sharing it's joys as well. You should always take the time to gather your thoughts and feelings about the person and shape them into words that you can share. Sometimes this can be incredibly difficult, and this is where poems for funerals and other such readings make life easier by providing you with a starting point.

Whilst death is the one certain event in life, just about everyone finds it difficult to deal with when it happens to someone you love and care about. Not only are you discussing the death of a person that was close to you but you are also reflecting on how they lived their life. Taking something and adapting it to your needs is a good way to start getting those thoughts and feelings in order so that you can express them in the right way at the right time.

What we aim to do with this Wiki is to provide resources that will help, and perhaps you will share your stories of the things that helped you and made it easier for you to deal with the tasks that face us all when we lose someone. Please feel free to share and to add to this site anything that is appropriate.
